Marr Bk A FENNY; STINSON [?];CALHOON; FAIRLEIGH KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we John FENNY & John JOHNSON are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the just and full sum of fifty pounds, United States currency, for which payment, well and truly to be made and done, we bind ourselves, our heirs, &c jointly, severally and firmly, by these presents, sealed with our seals and dated this 3rd day of May 1824. The condition of the above obligation is such, that if there should be no legal cause to obstruct a marriage shortly to be solemnized between the above bound John FENNY and Miss Polly STINSON [?] persons of Colour for which a license this day issued, then the above obligation to be void, else to remain in full force and virtue in law.
