"James Howard Strode, 93 year old retired farmer of Route 3, Summer Shade,
died Thursday night at his home following an illness of several months.

"He is survived by his wife, Mrs. May Strode; a son, Jewell Strode, Route 3,
Summer Shde; a brother, Wade Strode, Champaign, Ill., and two grandsons.

"Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the A. F. Crow and
Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Cemetery."
