BETTY JEAN SULLIVAN
 
    Betty Jean Sullivan, 59, of Pineville, passed away on June 28, 2003 at her 
home.  She was born in East Pineville on January 11, 1944 a daughter of the 
late Herman and Etta Lee Green Sullivan.  She was a believer in the Holiness 
faith and had been a homemaker.
    In addition to her parents, she was proceded in death by her husband, 
Estil Alford, brothers, Harold and Darrell Wayne Sullivan and a nephew Kenneth 
Andrew Fields.
    Survivors include her sons, Lee Wayne Alford of Pineville and Estil and 
Cora Beth Alford of Knoxville, brother, Ronnie and Sandy Sullivan, sisters, 
Charlene (Peggy) and Bradley Asher of Dorton Branch, Beverly Sue and Andrew 
Fields of Maryville, TN and Fay Parrott of Maryville; nephews, David Parrott 
and Melvin Lee Fields both of Maryville, nieces, Melissa Gail Fields, Ronnie 
Michael Sullivan, Lisa Sullivan and Sherry and Allen Ford all of Maryville, 
special great-nephew, Jonathan Hunter Lee Bowens and great-niece, Kendra 
(Kenna) Fields.
    Services were Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Thea 
O. Carter.  Burial was in the Asher-Sullivan Cemetery at Dorton Branch,  
Pallbearers were family and friends.
    Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Sullivan 
Family.
