Wells Lester Summay, 70, retired farmer of the Cecil Pike, died Friday after a long illness.

A native of Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Landon and Mamie Shelton Summay and a member of the Somerset Christian Church.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. L. M. Skaggs and Mrs. Boyd Caywood, Mt.
Sterling, and Mrs. Cossie Quillen, Whitesburg, Two brothers, Russell Summay, Paris, and Stanton Summay, Millersburg.

Services were conducted by Rev. Larry williams Monday afternoon at the Eastin-Richey Funeral Home. Burial was in Machpelah Cemetery. casket bearers were Fred Mee, Raymond Arnold, Harold Staton, Shirley Turner, Carl Hoovermale, Kellar Hall, Richard Mark and Charles Boyd. Honorary bearers were deacons and elders of the Somerset Christian Church.
