W. SWEARINGEN of the county of Bullitt and State of Kentucky of the first part, and Matthew MUDD of the County and State aforesaid of the second part Witnessed: that the party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred & eighteen dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted bargained and sold and by these persents do grant bargain and sell unto the party of the second part a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred and three acres on lick run waters of Cox' creek and Bounded as follows viz: Beginning at a red oak stump near rock run thence North 96 poles to four sugar trees in Amon SHECKLES' line thence with his line N. 61 degrees 6_ for 66_) 85-1/2 poles to a small white bark in the line of BAKERs 411 acre survey thence with the same S 39_ __ for 40_) 53- 1/2 poles to a water beech in said line, thence S 10 E 14 poles to a blue ash tree thence S 11 plus or minus 28-1/2 poles to a sugar three thence S 7-1/2 E 30 poles to a stone and sugar tree thence S 17-1/2 West 35 poles to an Ironwood thence South 36 poles to a water beech five feet from a honey locust thence S 14-1/2 E 16 poles to an Ironwood and sugar tree; thence S 42-1/2 E 19 poles to a dogwood and sugar tree thence S 5 E 33 poles to a large stone in the Falls of _outs run in a line of Levy MAGRUDERs land thence with Magruders line N 53-1/2 W 132 to an Elm and large sycamore on the north bank of lick run thence N. 52-1/2 W 12 poles to the Beginning.
