Clyde Tackett, 59, farmer of the Winchester Road, died Tuesday morning at his home after a long illness.

A native of Clark County, he was a son of the late George and Laura Tackett.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Willoughby Tackett; two daughters, Mrs. Laura Wheeler, and Mrs. Alice Johnson, four brothers, Curtis Tackett, Bruce Tackett, Lloyd Tackett and Sterling Tackett; a sister Mrs. Rebecca Reed and 13 grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals Chapel. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
