Virdie Faye "Bob" Tackett, 74, of Portsmouth, Ohio. died Sat­urday., March 26, 
1994, at Scioto Memorial Hospilal in Portsmollth, after a long illness. 
Bom March 9, 1920, in Pike County , she was a daughter of the late Will and 
Martha Ellen Music Tackett.  She was a retired merchandise clerk for Hudson's 
Department Store in Detroit, Michigan. 
Survivors include two  brothers, Acie Tackett of  Melvin and Rans Tackett of 
Germantown; one sister, Goldie Mashburn of Quincy; several nieces and nephews; 
and several  great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and 
nephews. 
  
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Velma Marie DiPrima, Bertha Little 
and Cynthia Gay Wells; eight brothers, Mid Tackett, Glen Tackett, Clarence 
Tackett Curtis Tackett, Raymond Tackett, Randolf Tackett, Rail Tackett and  
Posey Tackett. 
 Services were held at 1 p.m. Monday,  March 28, 1994 at Dickerson Funeral 
Home. Rev. Clarence Hall officiated. Burial was in Skidmore Cemetery in 
Garrison.
