Danville Advocate Messenger, 20 May 2002 WELLSBORO, Pa. -- A memorial service for William J. Tanner, 81, of Wellsboro, Pa., formerly of Boyle County, was held at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home in Wellsboro by the Rev. Eugene Charsky. 
Burial was in Wellsboro Cemetery. 
He died Thursday at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro. 
He was an employee of Corning Glass in Danville. (This information was incorrect in Sunday's paper.) Memorials may go to the American Diabetes Association.
