Nola Boyatt Tapley, 70, of Pine Knot, passed away at the Scott County 
Hospital, Tuesday, March 7. She was the daughter of the late Harvey L. Boyatt 
and the late Rachel Foster Boyatt, a member of the United Baptist Church in 
Pine Knot./  Surviving ate two daughters, Mary Sue Tapley of Pine Knot and 
Blanch Bagwell of Nashville; three sons, Landis Boyatt of Strunk and Oscar 
Boyatt and Herman Tapley, both of Pine Knot; four sisters, Florence Maxwell, 
Dorothy Foster, Movis Slaven and Lola Slaven, all of Oneida, Tenn.; two 
brothers, Willie Boyatt and Fred Boyatt, both of Oneida; seven grandchildren 
and eight step-grandchildren./  Funeral services were conducted from the 
United Baptist Church in Pine Knot Thursday with Rev. Wheeler Blevins and Rev. 
Lloyd King officiating. Burial followed in the Troxell Cemetery in Pine 
Knot./  West Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
