To: KYF Subject: Terrell.Margaret.May.Crouch.1952.Bourbon.OBIT Margaret May Crouch Terrell February 18 1952 Bourbon County KyArchives Obituaries MO Newspaper Services Held at Vaughn's Burial in Pleasant Ridge Mrs. Maggie May Terrell, 80 years old, died Monday afternoon February 18, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Claudie) Nichols, after an illness of two years. She was born in Kentucky, May 6, 1871, the daughter of George Washington and Susan Sparks Crouch, and was married to Wallace B. Terrell on September 7, 1867. Mr. Terrell, who preceded her in death, was a tobacco farmer. Mrs. Terrell, who was a member of the Christian church, was a devoted mother and wife. She was a friendly person and was well thought of in the community. She leaves a host of friends who mourn her. Surviving besides Mrs. Nichols are three daughters, Mrs. W.D. (Lena) Taulbee, and Mrs. Wilburn (Iva) Taulbee, Weston, Mrs. Ernest (Ruth) Leggett, North Middleton, KY; two sons, Gano Terrell, Dearborn, Clark Terrell, Edgerton, one brother, Claude Warren Crouch, Lexington, KY; seven grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Vaughn Chapel at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Rev. H.A. McCann, pastor of the Baptist church officiated. He also sang "Beautiful Isles of Somewhere". Burial was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Walter Large, Alfred Nower, Harry McClain, John Nichols, Frank Dean and Gilbert Nichols.
