To any Minister of the Gospel, or other person Legally Authorized to Solemnize 
Matrimony:
     You are permitted to solmize this RITES OF MATRIMONY between Mitchell 
Preston and Mary Thompson the requirements of the law having been complied with.
     Witness my signature as Clerk of Lincoln County Court, this 17th day of 
November 1882.

     THIS IS TO CERTIFY, That on the 17 day of November 1882 the RITES OF 
MATRIMONY were legally solmnized by me between Mitchell Preston and Mary 
Thompson at Harris House in the County of Lincoln in the presence of Thomas 
Proctor & Rosa Preston.

for the marriage of Mitchell Preston and my daughter Mary Thompson.
