Recorded: July 12 1810

This indenture made this 23rd of June 1810 between John Thurmon of Cumberland 
County and State of Kentucky of the one part and William Cain of the other part 
witnesseth that the said John Thurmon hath conveyed and by these present do 
alien and convey unto William Cain and to his heirs executors and 
administrators a certain tract or parcel of land containing two hundred acres 
conveyed to me by patent by the State through mistake bearing date the 28th day 
of February one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine and being in the County 
of Cumberland on Bear Creek waters of Cumberland River and bounded as followed 
to wit:  Beginning at a white oak and sugar tree thence north seventy east one 
hundred and eighty one poles to sugar iron and dogwood saplings, thence south 
twenty five east one hundred and fifty poles to a buck eye and ash thence south 
seventy west two hundred and forty poles to a white oak and sugar tree thence 
north one hundred and twenty poles to the beginning to have and to hold the 
said two hundred acres of land with all and singular the premises and the 
appurtenances thereunto the said William Cain and unto his heirs forever 
against me and my heirs forever.  As witnesseth my hand and seal the day and 
date above written.

Cumberland County Court Clerks office 12th day of July 1810
I George Morrison a Deputy clerk of the court aforesaid do hereby certify that 
John Thurmon a party to the within deed of bargain and sale from him to William 
Cain came personally before me on the 23rd day of June 1810 and acknowledged 
the same to be his act and deed.  And that I have now recorded the same 
together with the certificate in my said office in Liber B at page 47.  Witness 
my hand the day and year above written
