William "Billy" Tipton, 74, of Eminence, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Doris Rearden Tipton of Eminence; sons 
Michael Dale Tipton of Graefenburg and Kenneth Ray Tipton of Mount Eden; 
daughters Patricia Ann Sanford of Shelbyville and Charlotte Marie Hill of 
Simpsonville; four brothers, Orville Tipton of Bagdad, Renzy Tipton Jr. of 
Shelbyville, John Tipton of Graefenburg and Robert Tipton of Bagdad; a sister, 
Mary Elizabeth Roberts of Pleasureville.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville. 
Visitation is 3-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cropper 
Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Lung Association.
