WILLIAM TIPTON
of Kentucky

   William Tipton applied for pension while living in Montgomery County, Kentucky, in 1832. He was born in Baltimore County, Maryland. January 1, 1754. He moved from Maryland to Virginia and was living in Fredrick County, Virginia, when he enlisted. After the Revolution he moved to Montgomery County, Kentucky.
