Trimble March 17, 1971 Montgomery County KyArchives Obituaries newspaper James L. Trimble, retired farmer of the Bunker Hill Road, died at 6:45 p.m. Friday at the Mary Chiles Hospital after a short illness. A native of Menifee County, he was a son of the late Christopher and Margaret Newell Trimble, a veteran of World War 1 and a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cordia Dale Trimble; a daughter Mrs. Wilbur Wills, Mt. Sterling; a son Lum Trimble, Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Ellis Jones, Paris; Mrs. Fernando Back and Mrs. Leslie Back, Middletown, Ohio. Services were conducted by the Rev. Howard Humphrey at 11:30 p.m. Monday at Eastin-Ritchey Funeral Home. Burial was in Machpelah Cemetery. Active bearers were William Waggoner, Leo Jones, J.C. ishmael, Presley Conley, Charles Boyd and George Allen. Honorary bearers were Charlie Leggett, Clarence Wilson, Boyd Caywood, Orville Jacobs, Bedford Henry, Ora Gilvin and August Wilson.
