LIBERTY -- Richard Allen Troxell, 48, of Oklahoma City, Okla., died Sunday
at his residence.
Born Dec. 19, 1954, in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of Shirley Hall of
Liberty and Jean Nelson and the late James V. Troxell. He was assistant
warden of Oklahoma Federal Prison and a member of Southern Heights Baptist
Church in Lexington.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Rogers Troxell; two sons, Ricky Troxell of
Somerset and Jeremy Hardy; a daughter, Maegen Parnell; a brother, Mike
Nelson of Lexington; a sister, Debbie Green of Ringgold, Ga.; four foster
sisters, Darlene Ferrel, Betty Tucker, Bobbie Blevins and JoAnn Morgan; and
two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rachel Troxell.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Bob Johnson at Bartle Funeral
Home. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Thursday.
