Born July 6, 1928, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Ebb and Mary Miller Lamb. She was a retired factory worker and a member of Liberty Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Donald Vanhook of Paint Lick; a daughter, Mary Wade of Paint Lick; a son, Ronnie A. Vanhook of Paint Lick; a sister, Magdalene Begley of Garrard County; two brothers, Cecil Lamb of Madison County and Lewis Lamb of Garrard County; and two grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Everett Priddy. Burial will be in Paint Lick Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Corey and Brent Denny, Thomas Begley, Jeff, Randy and Garland Vanhook. Honorary pallbearers are Pauline Denny, J.M. Watkins, Billy Dean, Bobby Smith, Ken Davidson, Clellon Warmouth and Charles Walls. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today. ______________________________
