The remains of Mr. Grover Veatch who died last Monday at the hospital in 
Covington, where he underwent an operation, were shipped from Ludlow to 
the home of his uncle, Mr. Will Brown, at his place, where the funeral 
services were conducted by Rev. J. B. Jones with appropriate scripture 
reading and a short and sympathetic talk to the bereaved parents, brothers 
and friends. The deceased was 19 years of age, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
James Veatch, who live in this vicinity. We extend sympathy to the bereaved 
family.
