I desire that my executor hereinafter sell and convey on such terms and conditions and for such price as he may deem proper all real estate of which I may die the owner of or have the legal title to. After the settlement of my just debts and funeral expenses I give and bequeath to the White Oak Christian Church bath County KY the sum of $100.00 and I give and bequeath to the Hillsboro Christian Church Fleming County KY the sum of $100.00 said bequests to be preferred and payable before any other bequests herein set out. I give and bequeath to my sister, Mrs. Iva G. Starks, Paducah, Ky, my walnut bedstead but if she predeceases me I direct my executor to sell said bedstead to the highest and best bidder and the sum realized from said sale to become a part of my general estate. I give and bequeath to my sisters, Mrs. Nannie Whaley, Mrs. Martha Henderson, Mrs. Zelia Whitton and Mrs. Iva Starks the remainder of my property, share and share alike equally but in the event either one or more or all of them predeceases me then I direct that the share of those who predecease me shall pass to their heirs, share and share alike equally. I nominate and appoint Espie Whaley as executor of this will and request that he be permitted to qualify as such without surety on his bond.
