Rites Today For Oscar Vinson, 76
	Oscar E Vinson, 50 South Scott Street, died here at 6 am Sunday 
in Kentucky Rest Haven, 419 North Seminary, where he had been for the 
past twenty two months.
	Mr Vinson, who was 76, is survived by the wife, Mrs Ila Vinson; 
son, Peyton Vinson, both of 50 South Scott Street, and three sisters, 
Mrs Lola Yuill, Mrs J D Stull, both of Herrin, Ill., and Mrs Cecil 
Tarrents, Graham, Ky.
	Funeral services were conducted at 3 pm today at Barnett-Strother 
Funeral Home 304 South Main. Officiating was Dr Harold D Tallant, who 
was assisted by the Rev. C B Curtis.  Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
	He was a member of First Baptist Church.
