Catherine Vinell Wade, age 76 Hardinsburg,KY died Wednesday, 8-20-2008 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Louisville,KY on 7-3-1932, the daughter of the late Frank Washington and Nellie Louise Gutermuth Watkins. She was a member of Garfield Baptist Church, she loved shopping, but most importantly, she loved being a "Mom".

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Frank E. Wade Sr.

4 brothers: J.W., Frank, Ray and Chester Watkins

Catherine is survived by 7 children: Ronald (Joan) Wade and Jimmy (Valerie) Wade of Gamaliel, KY Brenda (Steven) Browning of Louisville,KY Frank Wade Jr and Mark (Sheila) Wade of Irvington,KY Jerry (Sharon) Wade of Ekron,KY Annette (Anthony) Whitfill of Harned,KY
21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren
5 nieces and nephews and many other special family and friends

Funeral services will be held on Monday, 8-25-2008 at 11AM CDT at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Dooley and Rev. Doug Fuller officiating. Burial will be in the Bethany Cemetery in Louisville,KY. Visitation on Sunday from 4:30 - 8:00PM CDT and after 8:00AM CDT Monday.
