William Robert Wagoner, 84, a retired farmer of Campbellsville, Route 6, died at 1:32 p.m., Friday, Sept. 3 [1982] at the Taylor County Hospital. He was a member of the Andy Bowen Masonic Lodge #670 F&AM. He united in marriage to Bessie Trine Sept. 24, 1921. She preceded him in death Sept. 1, 1979. To this union one daughter was born, Mrs. Ray (Helen) Bowles of Route #6, Campbellsville. Besides his daughter, he is survived by one grandson: C.R. (Chip) Bowles of Lexington, Ky.; one brother and three sisters: Walter Wagoner of Route 1, Campbellsville; Mattie Wise and Clara Rice both of Route 2, Campbellsville; Ethel Chandler of Greenville, Pa., several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 5 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Dr. D.L. Druien. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were: Charles Wagoner, Charlie Chelf, Tommy Murphy, C.R. (Chip) Bowles, Jimmie Sharp and Russell Cox. Central Kentucky News-Journal, Sept. 9, 1982 issue ______________________________
