Walker January 28 1847 Boyle County KyArchives Deed Written: January 28 1847 Recorded: February 15 1847 Book 2, page 231 This Indenture made and entered into this 28 day of January A.D. 1847 between John W. Walker of the first part & William Maginnis of the Second part, all of Boyle County and State of Kentucky. Wtinesseth, that said Walker for and in consideration of the Sum of four hundred and fifty dollars paid in hand the receit whereof is hereby acknowledged by the Sd. Walker has this day bargained and Sold or by these presents doth bargin Sell and convey unto the Sd. William Maginas all his right title and interest me to a certain tract of land lying and being in the County of Boyl and State of Kentucky his Said interest being the interest that Robert Coffman assigned him which is a life estate, and which Sd. tract of land is bounded as follows. Beginning at a buckeye and Shugar tree, North 106 poles to an ash, thence North 9 poles to a Shugar tree and white oak, thence West 62 poles to a black locus and elm tree, thence South 38 West 146 poles to a black ash and dogwood on the Original line, thence with the Same East 190 poles to the beginning, to have and to hold unto Said Maginnas his heirs during the natural life of Robert Coffman. And the Sd. Walker agrees that he will warrent and defend the Said tract of land unto the Sd. Maginnis against the claim of all persons or persons. Witness the hand and Seal of the first part, Signed and acknowl this th 15 day of February 1847. John L. Walker (Seal) Commonwealth of Kentucky, Boyle County Sct I, Thomas B. Nichols Clerk of the County Court for the County Aforesaid, do certify that this deed from John L. Walker to William McGinnis was this day produced to me in my office by the Said grantor, and acknowledged by the Said John L. Walker to be his act and deed, and ordered to be recorded.
