Walls, 69, of Stanford will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fox Funeral Home by Jim Norman and Johnny Adamson. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery with military rites by Caswell Saufley Post 18 of the American Legion. He died Sunday at his home. Born Nov. 6, 1933, in McKinney, he was the son of the late John "Bud" and Nicie VanHook Walls. He was owner and operator of Walls Realty and Design Builders in Ohio and Stanford. He was a retired employee of the Jefferson Smurfit Co., where he worked for 34 years in Lockland, Ohio. He had been a staff sergeant in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of Tri-County Baptist Church in West Chester, Ohio. He also was a member of Caswell Saufley Post 18 of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7101 and Yeatman Masonic Lodge 162 in Mount Washington, Ohio. Survivors include his companion, Glenda Todd Walls of Lebanon, Ohio; a son, Charles E. Walls of Lebanon, Ohio; a daughter, Ewona Jane Allen of Norwood, Ohio; three stepsons, James "Kip" Allen of West Chester, Ohio, Brian Bailey of Carlisle, Ohio, and Ricky Pandorf of Norwood; three stepdaughters, Darlene Meece of Monticello, Debbie Costa of Green Hills, Ohio, and Nancy Rowland of Dry Ridge; two brothers, Charles W. Walls of McKinney and Elmer Walls of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; a sister, Ewona Robbins of Stanford; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Bruce, Tim, Brandon and Blake Robbins, Bill Taylor and Kip Allen. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Reed, Cecil Chumbley, Denver Rose, Marlin Clarkson, Bobby Folger, Ray Meece, Brad Robbins and Zack Taylor. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today with Masonic rites at 7 p.m. by Waynesburg Lodge 325. Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice of Danville.
