Item I. I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses to be paid out of my estate as soon as practicable after the time of my decease. Item II. I give, devise and bequeath to Mrs. Anna Downs, wife of Ernie Downs, Jr., Mrs. Claude Goodpaster and Mrs. Lela Parker, the sunm of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY ($250.00) DOLLARS each. Item III. All the balance and residue of my estate, of what so ever kind and wheresoever situate, real, personal and mixed, I direct my Executrix hereinafter named to convert to cash and distribute the proceeds as follows; One-third to Mrs. Ruth Markland, wife of A. V. Markland, one-third to Mrs. Mary Belle McVay and one-third to Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Butcher, jointly, I have certain household and kitchen furniture in my home at Slate Valley, I except such household and kitchen furniture from this residuary clause and give, devise and bequeath the same in kind to Bettie Butcher Bailey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Butcher. Item IV. I make, nominate and appoint Mrs. Ruth Markland as Executrix of this my Will and request that she be allowed to qualify as such without surety on her bond, I fully authorize and empower my said Executrix to sell and convey all my property, including real estate, in order to carry out the terms of this my will. Byron Witness STATE OF KENTUCKY COUNTY OF BATH I, Pearl Brother, Clerk of the Bath County Court, do certify that an instrument of writing purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Marie Warner, deceased, was on 21st day of June, 1954 produced in Open Court for probate, and proven by the testamony of Aitkin Darnell and Roger A. Byron, the two attesting witnesses. Whereupon the same established to be the Last Will and Testament of Marie Warner, deceased and ordered to be recorded as such. Whereupon the same with the foregoing and this certificate hath been duly recorded in my office., Will Book I, Page 30.
