Glasgow (KY) WeeklyTimes, 2 Jan 1879.
"Dead. The sad intelligence of Mrs. Roll S. Waterman, better known as Miss May 
Barrick, was dispatched here Tuesday evening last. She died in Athens, Ohio, 
that morning. Mrs. Waterman was well and widely known in Barren as an 
accomplished and elegant young lady of whom all her friends were proud. Many 
hearts will sorrow and eyes will grow dim at the announcement of her early 
death.

"The funeral services will take place this morning at 10 o'clock in the 
Presbyterian church, after which burial will take place at the Munford burying 
ground."
