Rosa Abigail Waters, 78, Stearns, died March 7, at Lake Cumberland Medical 
Center after suffering a lingering illness. Funeral services were conducted 
March 9 at 2 p.m. at First Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Revelo, with Rev. 
Lloyd King and Rev. Everett King officiating. Burial was in Stearns 
Cemetery./  She was born Aug. 18, 1900, in Wayne County to the late Eliza and 
Pad Coil. She was a homemaker and member of First Hickory Grove Baptist 
Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie E. Waters; 
three children, one brother and one sister./  Survivors include her children, 
Josh Waters, Morganfield, Ky, Ottis Waters, Charleston, S.C., Christine Watson 
and Leroy Waters, both of Stearns, Lonnie Waters, Beaver Dam, Ky., Paul Waters 
and Barbara Sue Smith, both of Chattanooga, Tenn.; 46 grandchildren and 33 
great-grandchildren./  McCreary county Funeral Home was in charge of 
arrangements.
