DR. JOHN D. WATHEN.
 
Dr. John D. Wathen, 75, Henderson, died 3:18am Saturday, Aug. 8, at St.
Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
 
A retired dentist, he was a member of Holy Trinity Pro-Cathedral in
Evansville and the Kentucky Dental Association. Mr. Wathen also served as a
US Navy lieutenant in WWII and the Korean War.
 
Survivors include three daughters, Lissa Wathen of Lexington, Annette
Peterson of Bardstown, and Kristi Saffer of Louisville; one sister, Peggy
Gager of Henderson; two brothers, James L. Wathen and Judge Will Tom
Wathen, both of Morganfield; and two grandchildren.
 
Services will be 10:30am Saturday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church
with the Rev. J. Edward Bradley officiating. Burial will be in St. Louis
Cemetery.
 
There will be no visitation.
 
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St.
Anthony's Hospice, the American Heart Association or the Alzheimers
Association.
