Ina Bea Phillips Watkins, 80, of Scott Lane died Friday at Stanford 
House Nursing Home, Stanford.

Born Sept. 26, 1921, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late 
Butler Daniel and Viola Frances Hedges Phillips. She was the widow of 
James Martin Watkins. She was a homemaker, a self-employed seamstress, 
a graduate of McAfee High School and a member of Willow Grove Baptist 
Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean W. Boswell of Danville; a son, 
Jerry B. Watkins of Hustonville; two sisters, Katherine Samples of 
Danville and Mary Frances Gibson of Harrodsburg; a brother, Wesley 
Phillips of Harrodsburg; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grand-
children.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home. Burial will 
be in Danville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. today.
