(no day) June 1844 Newman WELLS and Elizabeth his wife of the County of Spencer 
and state of Kentucky of the one part to Elijah WIGGINTON of the same County 
and State of the other part that for and in consideration of the sum of 
Thirteen hundred and sixty Dollars to them in hand paid do grant bargain and 
sell a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Spencer 
and State aforesaid... bounded by the edge of the road leading to Frankfort 
from the mouth of Simpson’s Creek... south to a corner of George WELLS...to a 
line of James BOYLES.  (deed is badly damaged and if it gives the amount of 
acres I was unable to find it).
