Bath Co. News-Outlook, Jan. 10, 2002, P2 Dorothy Wells, 86, of Owingsville passes away after long illness.
  Dorothy Grace Rose Wells, age 86, of Owingsville passed away Monday, December 24, 2001, at St. Claire Medical Center after a long illness.  She was born October 10, 1915 in Wolfe County to the late Henry T. and Mary Lacy Rose.  She was the widow of Clarence Wells, a homemaker and a member of the Polksville Church of God.
  Survivors include a son, Roger Wells of Paris; three daughters, Lenora Craycraft, Eula Wells, and Ruby Carpenter, all of Owingsville; one brother, Edward Rose of Owingsville; two sisters, Lucille Miller of Germantown, OH, and Helen Rose of Greenfield, OH.
  She was preceded in death by a son, Don Wells, Sr.; one brother, William Elbert Rose; and two sisters, Lillian Copher and Maxine Crouch. 
  Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2001 at Richardson Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating.  Burial was in Owingsville Cemetery.
