Unknown Glasgow KY newspaper.
"MISS MARY WELLS, daughter of the late Mr. Cash Wells, died at her home near
Salem, December 27th, after a lingering illness of consumption, at the age of
thirty-two years. She was a devoted member of the Methodist Church and was a
lovable young lady, highly esteemed by all who knew her. She is survived by
three sisters - Mrs. Annie Bailey, Mrs. Lillie Barbour, of this place, and Miss
Ella Wells, of Kansas. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Black, after
which the remains were laid to rest in the Wells family burying ground in the
presence of a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. /s/ Kathleen
and Mabel."
