Born Dec. 15, 1917, in Bethelridge, he was the son of the late Alexander and Haley Jane Swearington Wesley. He was a farmer, was retired from American Greetings Corp., and was a member of Corinth Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Maxine Randolph Wesley; two sons, James Phillip Wesley of Lawrenceburg and Mitchell Wesley of Liberty; a daughter, Shelia Ann Peavley of Hustonville; a sister, Hazel Wesley of Boswell, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Vernon Wesley. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Corinth Church of God by Steve Willingham. Burial will be in Middleburg Cemetery with military rites by Casey County Funeral Squad. Visitation is after 4 p.m. today and from 8-10 a.m. Monday at Bartle Funeral Chapel and after 11 a.m. Monday at Corinth Church of God. Pallbearers will be Casey, Andrew, Chris and Barry Wesley, Bobby Baker and Chad Peavley. ______________________________
