Owensboro [KY] Messenger Saturday Morning, Feb 22, 1908, page 2 Respected Farmer _______________ William Westerfield Dies at His Home at Dermot William Westerfield died of a complication of diseases Thursday at his home in the Dermot neighborhood. He was a highly respected farmer of that section. A wife and several children survive him. O. C. Westerfield, of Owensboro, is a brother of the deceased. The funeral took place Friday morning. C. was Oliver C. and that this is the William who was a son of Meltravis and Zerilda Josephine (Westerfield) Westerfield (later Clark). Meltravis was a son of Isaac and Zerilda Josephine (Poole) Westerfield. The younger Zerilda Josephine was a daughter of David and Elizabeth (Moseley) Westerfield.
