White - John Thurmon March 14, 1833 Madison County KyArchives Deed Written: March 14, 1833 Madison County Kentucky Deed Book V page 17 Know all men by these presents that I John Thurmon of the County of Madison and State of Kentucky have this day bargained and sold unto Valentine M. White a certain tract or parcel of land containing about twenty two acres be the same more or less its being the land which I purchased of John Crooke and adjoining the lands of Clarke Cox and Galispie and Rice for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and seventy seven dollars seventy nine cents which I bind myself my heirs to this warrantee and convey to him the said White as witness my hand and seal. The condition of the above obligation is such that the said Thurman is indebted to the said White the sum of three hundred and seventy seven and seventy nine cents for which he has executed his note with William Robinson as security for the above named sum payable by the 14 of February 1834 and now in case he the said Thurman should pay said White the above named sum against the 14 February 1834 this obligation is to be null and void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue in law witness my hand and seal this 14 of March 1833.
