DEED: Lee, 1815, Madison Co Noah Lee Madison County Kentucky Deed Book L 1815-1817 Pages 55-56 FHC film #0183289 This Indenture made This 11th day of October Anno Domini One thousand eight hundred and fifteen between William Wilkinson of Madison County and State of Kentucky of the one part and Noah Lee of the other part. Witnesseth that the said William Wilkinson for the consideration of Eight hundred Dollars to him in hand pid by the said Noah Lee the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge hath bargained sold aliened granted and confirmed unto the said Noah Lee and by these presents doth bargain sell grant alien and confirm unto the said Noah Lee a certain tract or parcel of land lying in Madison County on the waters of the walnut meadow fork a branch of paint lick creek and containing one hundred and twelve acres and bound as follows. To wit, Beginning at a boulder (?) ash and Black walnut thence East one hundred and twenty six poles to an Elm and Hickory thence South two hundred and twenty poles to two Black Oakes, Thence west eights Six poles to a shurgar tree, Thence north five degrees East fifteen poles to a hoopwood corner to Edward Stephenson, thence with Stephensons line north Eighty five degrees west fifty three poles toa hickory and white ash and two buckeyes thence down the creek as its meandering Binding on William Tituses line to the Beginning. To have and to hold the aforesaid tract of land together with its appurtenances to the said Noah Lee and his heirs forever and the said William Wilkerson will forever warrant and defend the aforesaid tract of land together with its appurtenances to the said Noah lee and his his heirs from the claim of the said William and from all other persons whatsoever.
