Deed Bk A, p 231, 232 TARDIVEAU; WILLIAMS; STRONG; ROCHESTER: GREEN This Indenture made this twenty sixth day of ____ one thousand seven hundred and ninety six by and Between Bartholomew TARDIVEAU late residents of Kenty state and __ TARDIVEAU of the County of Lincoln and said state of the other. Witnesseth that the said Bartholomew & Peter for and in consideration of the sum of twelve hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the said Elie WILLIAMS the receipt whereof they hereby acknowledge and thereof do request release with discharge the said ___ they the said Bartholomew TARDIVEAU and Peter TARDIVEAU have granted Bargained and sold and by these p resents do Bargain sell grant and for Ever Convey away to the said Elie WILLIAMS two Certain tracts or parcels of Land situate lying and being in the county of Hardin said state on Rough Creek waters of Green River Bounded as follows One tract containing six hundred acres and Beginning at two Blu___ hasalnuts and two sycamores running thence south thirty degrees East two hundred and ninety four poles to a poplar sugar tree and Buckhorn thence south sixty degrees west three hundred and thirty three poles to a beech Elm poplar and sweet gum on the Bank of Half Creek thence north thirty degrees east three hundred and thirty three poles __ a maple ash sweet gum and poplar thence up Rough creek to ____ meanders to the Beginning. The other tract containing also four hundred acres Beginning at the northeast corner of the aforementioned survey a poplar sugartree and Buckhorn Running thence south thirty degrees East two hundred and seventy one poles to two Beeches and sugar tree thence south sixty degrees west three hundred and twenty six poles crossing Half Creek at one hundred and thirty poles to three Beeches thence north thirty degrees west three hundred and seventy two poles to the south west corner of the afore____ ________ Elm and poplar thence with the upper line of the said survey north sixty degrees East three hundred and thirty three poles to the Beginning.
