Note Transcribed from the original document as written. James Barbour Esq. Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia To all to whom these presents shall come greeting. Know ye that by virtue of a Land Office Treasury Warrant No. 961, issued the 11th of December 1794, there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto Thomas Williams and Abraham Williams, a certain track or parcel of land containing one hundred and fifty four acres by survey bearing date the 16th day of November 1810; situate in the County of Shenandoah on the south eastwardly side of fort mountain and bounded as followeth to wit. Beginning at a small pine on the south side of fort mountain corner to David Allen and supposed to be very near the line of William Ellzey's Mountain survey thense with said Allen's and supposed to be very near a line south thirty four degrees, west seventy four poles to a chestnut corner to John Overall, then with his line, south seventy one degrees, west seventy four poles to a forked chestnut oak, thence with another of his lines part of the distance and the other part supposed to be on or near a line of-------- Woods, south thirty four degrees, west four four hundred and twenty poles to two hickories and a white oak at the foot of a timber ridge, thence north sixty five degrees, weat seventy four poles to a chestnut oak and black oak on the side of fort mountain and thense north sixty five degrees, east five hundred and twenty four poles to the beginning with its appurtenances. To have and to hols said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Thomas Williams and Abraham Williams and their heirs forever. In witness whereof the said James Barbour Esq.
