From: KyArchives Sent: Saturday, April 25, 2015 9:21 AM To: Ky-Footsteps Subject: Williams.Abraham.1848.Bracken-Mason.OBIT Abraham Williams 1848 Bracken-Mason County KyArchives Obituaries Maysville Eagle Abraham Williams Obituary Another Revolutionary Soldier Gone Abram Williams of Bracken County., Ky died on Monday the 1st instant Mr Williams was born on the Eastern Shore of Maryland on the 13th of January 1742. he served in the revolutionary War and drew a pension at Lexington. He had been a resident of this State upwards of fifty years, and enjoyed tolerably good health up to his death, He was in the one hundredand sixth years of his age when he died, and was respected by his acquaintances. he remarked on the day before his death, that he felt singular, but complained of no illness. These remembrances of earlyt and troublesome times are in 'sere and yellow leaf and will soon be gone. Full of years and of honors, men of a century, they are passing---- away. Thomas Williams, George W. Williams, Rhoda C. Williams, David Williams and possibly more children. Abraham is my gr.gr.gr.grand father. His wife name was Priscillla unknown.
