Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 12 Aug 1896
"Mrs. Amanda Williams, wife of John H. Williams, died on the 27th prozimo at 6 
o'clock p.m. She leaves a husband and nine children to mourn her loss. She was 
a good, Christian woman, was a member of the Baptist church for twenty years, 
and died with the assurance of a better home beyond. She left two brothers and 
two sisters - Messrs. George and Charlie Hammett, of Monroe County; and Mrs. 
Joel Jones, of this place, and Mrs. S. B. Dossey of Glasgow."
