I Henry Williams being weak in body but sound and perfect mind and memory blest be almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner form following. First I want all my just and honest debts paid and the residue to go to my beloved wife Sarah as long as she remains my widow and at her death to go to my children equally and fair; furthermore I want my saddle and rigging to go to my third son Charles and Simeon and Humphrey are to keep their saddle and rigging. I wish my two horses to remain on the farm if the debts will allow the same and if the debts cannot be paid without something of less value may be sold to pay said debts. I furthermore want my children to be kept together at home and my beloved wife Sarah to have management of the farm and concerns under her management to do the best she can to raise my children. Furthermore I bequeath to my son Humphrey the yearling colt and should the mare have a colt that she is in foal at this time it is to go ___ ___ my son Simeon should it live and the three sons to be charged with the value of the same so that there shall be no distinction as it is my wish for all to have alike. I do furthermore appoint William C Short as my executor to settle up all my business and there is not to be any public sale the executor is to sell anything that my beloved wife can spare best to pay off all my just debts.
