R. WILLIAMS, age 47, of Brandenburg, Ky (Meade County), died Friday, February 2, 1968 at the Veterans Hospital in Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County). He had been ill of cancer for the past two years. Mr. WILLIAMS was born January 20, 1921, the son of John M. WILLIAMS who died in 1961, and Mrs. Eva POOLE WILLIAMS. Mr. WILLIAMS worked for many years at the Muldraugh L.G. & K. Pumping Station in Meade County until his illness prevented his working. He is survived by: his wife, Mrs. Katherine WILSON WILLIAMS four sons: Ralph T. WILLIAMS of Louisville, Ky Clifford W. WILLIAMS of Washington, D.C. David WILLIAMS of Brandenburg, Ky John Mark WILLIAMS of Brandenburg, Ky one granddaughter: Barbara Kay WILLIAMS five sisters: Mrs. R. L CHANCELLOR of Arcola, Illinois (Douglas County) Mrs. George JARBOE, Jr. of Poplar Bluff, Missouri (Butler County) Mrs. James BRINEGAR of Pineville, West Virginia (Wyoming County) Mrs. Arlie MATTINGLY of Pleasure Ridge Park, Ky (Jefferson County) Mrs. Arthur SLOAN of Pleasure Ridge Park, Ky four brothers: Andrew WILLIAMS of Louisville, Ky Payton WILLIAMS of Cloverport, Ky (Breckinridge County) Lonnie WILLIAMS of Hardinsburg, Ky (Breckinridge County) Wilber WILLIAMS of Hardinsburg, Ky Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 4, 1968 at the Hager- Wright Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements, and burial was in the Cap Anderson Cemetery, Brandenburg, Ky.
