And first it is my will that at my decease of the property whereof providence has blessed me my burial expenses, all my just debts if any, and every legal claim against one shall be paid. After these claims are satisfied I will that my wife, Patience shall of the beds in my house have her choice of bed with bedding and bedstead. Further, I will and bequeath to my wife Patience the sum of $3.500 my money to be first paid her our of my estate. This sum I will to my wife Patience instead of her dower right according to law in my estate because I think it best for her and she prefers this sum of money to her dower-in land. The above named articles and sum of three thousand five hundred dollars being paid to my wife Patience it is my will that the residue of my estate consisting in lands, cash notes, and personal property be equally divided among my living children under the following condition, Namely, and first I will that portion or amount of my estate coming to my daughter Rachel Stansberry, wife of Zachariah Stansberry be placed in the hands of a trustee for her benefit. The proceeds of the property to be given to her according to her need of them and at her death the principal thus held in trust-by trustee legally authorized shall be equally divided among her living children. as trustee for my daughter Stansberry for her proportional part of my estate I hereby appoint Stephen L. Lloyd. Also, I hereby appoint ------W. Lloyd trustee for my daughter Paulina, Wife of John Gravens, Her part of my estate to be held by trustee the proceeds of which to be paid over to my daughter Paulina Gravens for her use and benefit and at her death the principal to be equally divided among her living children. Also it is my will that should my daughters Rachel Stansberry and Paulina Gravens at their death have no living children or either of them, then the property thus willed to her who is without living children at her death, is to be equally divided among my other children. Also I will that my heirs towit: Malvinia Tyler, wife of Henry Tyler, the trustee of my daughter Rachel, wife of Zechariah Stansberry, the trustee of my daughter Paulina, wife of John Gravens, my son Wesley Z. Williams and my daughter Agnes E., wife of James A. Littlejohn shall pay to each of my grandchildren Charlotte Ann Williams and Laura R. Williams one hundred dollars, I say to each when they are twenty years of age. If one dies then the other receives the Two Hundred dollars. If both died before they attain to twenty one years of age, then the money remains to my children. I appoint no one executor to the will. I desire no administration upon my estate. I hope my children in connections with the two trustees herein named will in a peaceable and satisfactory manner divide my property amongst themselves. They are hereby empowered to sell buy and make all necessary titles to lands, etc. Some of my children have received more money from me than others for which I hold notes. These notes are to be paid and are to be recognized to much of their equal part of my estate. I repeat that I wish my property to be equally divided among my children, after my wife Patience has received what is hereby will to her. I repeat that should the two grandchildren of Morris Williams decd, my son, reach the age of twenty one they are each to receive one hundred dollars as noted above. I here state that I appoint the above named trustees from no unkind feeling to anyone but from a firm belief that it so to do.
