N, p. 470 Will of Susannah Williamson In the name of God, Amen, I Susannah Williamson of the County of Woodford and State of Kentucky being weak in body but of sound mind and disposing memory do make and Publish this as my last Will and Testament , hereby revoking all wills by myself heretofore made. After the payment of my debts and funeral expenses I desire my property of every description, real, personal, and mixed of which I may be possessively interested in at the time of my death to pass to Robert Kinkead viz the following manner purported to be held by him in Trust, thereby he, the said Kinkead is to hire out my Negroes from year to year, rent out any real estate I may have or any interest I may have in real Estate forever year to year, to reduce all my notes and bonds in action to Cash this together with what money I may have at the time of my Death. I desire him to loan out as he may think most advantageous and out of the proceeds derived from the above sources he is to pay David Williamson of Brown County, Illinois one hundred dollars, that being as much as I feel able to give my son, the said David Williamson. After the payment of this Legacy of One Hundred dollars, it is my desire that the said Kinkead shall from time to time as he may think proper and divide equally between my sons Robert L Williamson and William B Williamson both of the County of Woodford and State of Kentucky, the remainder of said assets and continue to divide at such time as he may think necessary and proper the assets derived thereafter from said sources. I desire that after the death of the said Robert L Williamson and William B Williamson, the survivor of the said Robert and William shall receive the other’s portion of said assets. I authorize and empower my Executor at any time he may deem it advisable and proper to sell and convey my Negroes and real estate or interest in real estate I may have and direct that the proceeds arising from said sale shall be held by the trustee of Robert and William Williamson herein provided for upon the same terms and conditions and for the same purposes as herein designated. I appoint my friend Robert Kinkead Executor of this my last will and testament. In Testimony of the above I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 27th day of June 1850. Susannah Williamson. Scott State of Kentucky Woodford County Court August County Court 1850 The foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Susannah Williamson dec’d was this day produced in Court and Sworn by the oaths of Joseph B. Kinkead and Samuel C. Scott, the subscribing witnesses thereby and ordered to record whereupon Robert Kinkead the executor therein named, came into court and took the oath required by law and together with John L. Barclay, Catesby Barnes, and Richard D. Shippley as his securities executed and acknowledged Bond in the penalty of $3500 conditioned according to law. Letters Testimentary are granted him in due form of law.
