Mrs. Wilson was born October 30, 1920 in Pineville, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by husbands Dr. Roger E. White, M.D. and Dr. Edward Wilson, M.D.; two infant children and a brother, Dr. Fred Barlow, M.D. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Steve Edwards; a son, Lee G. White; grandson Thomas Lee Dunn; sisters, Mary G. Ward and Dorothy Freede; and a brother Jay Barlow. A lifelong member of the Baptist faith, she attended Carson-Newman College and received her Undergraduate and Masters degrees from Western Kentucky University. She was an extraordinary and loving woman with the voice of an angel, who will be greatly missed by the many who loved her. The family received friends Saturday, August 2 from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Highland Memorial Chapel, with the funeral at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. John Birchette. Interment followed at Highland Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society 871 East Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37909. Arrangements for Mrs. Wilson were handled by Highland Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations 5315 Kingston Pike 588-0567.
