  Doyle James Wilson, 74, Franklin, NC. formerly of McCreary Co., died 
Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1996, at his residence. Funeral services were 2 p.m. 
Saturday at the chapel of Bryant Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Brown 
officiating. Burial was in Rush Cemetery, Franklin, NC. Born in McCreary Co., 
June 17, 1922, he was a son of the late Elihu and Marie (Hickman) Wilson. He 
worked in the Stearns Coal Mines before moving to Cincinnati where he retired 
as a supervisor for General Motors. After retirement, he moved to Florida, 
living there until moving to Franklin last year. Preceding him in death were 
his parents; three brothers and a sister. Survivors include his wife, Grace; a 
daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Ron Schott, two grandchildren, Laura and 
Julie School; a great granddaughter, Ashley Schott, all of Franklin, NC; and 
four sisters, Dorothy Dixon, Hill Top, Lucetta Wilson, Cincinnati, Mary 
Runion, Manchester, KY and Sue Gibson, Greenville, KY.
