Elihu Wilson, 85, Rt. 1, Stearns, died Dec. 17 at Lake Cumberland Medical 
Center after a short illness. Funeral services were held Dec. 20 at Hill Top 
Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. Herbert "Bud" Perry and Rev. Paul Wilson 
officiating. Burial was in Nancy Grave Cemetery.  He was born Sept 2, 1895, 
at River Curve, Ky., to the late Will and Louverne Whitehead Wilson. He had 
lived here all of his life, was a coal miner and member of Antioch Baptist 
Church. Preceding him in death were his parents; 5 children, Dora Ross, Earl 
J., Austin and Billy Wilson and an infant daughter; four brothers and 2 
sisters.  Survivors include his wife, Marie Wilson, Stearns; his children, 
Doyle Wilson, Ft. Myers, Fla., Dorothy Dixon and David Wilson, both of 
Stearns, Lucetta Wilson, Cincinnati, Mary Runion, Manchester, Ky., Sue Gibson, 
Greenville, Ky.; 30 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-
grandchild; 1 brother, Shelby Wilson, Revelo.  McCreary County Funeral Home 
was in charge of arrangements.
