Mr. Wilson was born February 6, 1903 in McCreary County and was a son of the late Elihu Wilson and Louisa Maxwell Wilson. A retired coal miner, Mr. Wilson during this active life, was a trusted and loyal employee of Stearns Coal and Lumber Company. He was a member of the United Baptist Church. He was married May 22, 1925 at Oneida, Tenn, to Lula Ross, who survives. Besides his widow, Mr. Wilson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Dobbs, Mrs. Carol Denton Wilson, both living in Indianapolis, Ind., and five sons, Clyde Wilson, Stearns; Clifford and Carl Wilson, Revelo; Cleo Wilson, Pine Knot, and George Edward Wilson, Indianapolis. One daughter Mildred preceded her father in death. Also surviving are two brothers, Murrel Wilson, Stearns, and Francis Wilson, Hill Top, and one sister, Mrs. Cynthia Troxell, Isham, Ky. Funeral services was held March 26th in the Ross Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Levi Cox and Rev. Edd Simpson officiating. Burial was in the Ross Grove Cemetery. Pall bearers were Dean King, Walter Waters, Doyle Waters, Leo Dolen, Dean Watson and Cliff Bishop.
