DOUBLE FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS. PHURA WOOD, 
DAUGHTER-IN-LAW

Grand Rivers, Ky., Feb. 17 --- Double funeral and burial services were 
held here Tuesday for Mrs. Phura Wood, 46, and her daughter-in-law, 
Mrs. Alvin Wood, 24, who died Friday, February 9.

Mrs. Phura Wood, who was the wife of Walter Wood, died at her 
residence after a six months' illness.  She is survived by her husband; 
three daughters, Miss Martha Wood of Detroit, Mrs. Noble Young and 
Miss Eva Mae Wood, both of Grand Rivers; two sons, Alvin Wood and 
Kelly Ray Wood, both of Grand Rivers.

Mrs. Alvin Wood died at her residence in Henderson.  She is survived 
by her husband and two children.
