Wray - William Wray of Oolitic died Friday, November 7, 1997, at the Bedford
Regional Medical Center. Born in Kentucky on December 23, 1914, he was the
son of Wesley and Myrtie (Coop) Wray. He married Ethel Marie Davis, and she
survives.

Other survivors are one daughter, Joreena Pierce of Oolitic; three sisters:
Eva Eads, Shirley Browning, and Helen Sharr, all of Oolitic; and several 
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters: Sarah Ellen, 
Monra Wagner, and Ruth Blackburn; and three brothers: Pete Wray, Wesley "Bud"
Wray, and James Claude Wray.

He was a member of Hilltop Pentecostal Church and was retired from Cummins
Engine in Columbus, IN.

Services for William Wray will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 10th, at The
Day & Carter Mortuary with the Revs. Bill Johnson and Bennie Southerland
officiating. Burial with military graveside rites will follow in the Hilltop
Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. today, November 9th, at the Day & 
Carter Mortuary.
